What are my Email Capabilities?

Auto-responder

An auto-responder is exactly what it sounds like. When someone sends a message to an account you have an auto-responder set up on, they will get an immediate automatic reply. You can set that reply to be anything you wish, such as "Thanks for your mail! I'm on vacation at the moment, so I'll get back to you in a few weeks."

Alias

An alias is another name for the same email account. If This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it is the POP3 account, and This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it is an alias for it, then any email sent to JoeCool will go straight to Joe.

Catch-all account

They used to be very handy because if someone mis-types your email address, or sends an email to an address at your domain that doesn't exist, it will go to your catch-all account. However, spammers have made this feature useless and we no longer offer catch-all accounts.

Redirects

Redirects are also called Forwarders, take an email pass it along to a different domain. Any email sent to a forwarded account name will be "forwarded" to the email account you specify. This works even if it is at the same domain, but is usually used for a different domain. For example, if your current email is This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , you can have This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it mail forwarded to that account. If you want to forward to the same domain, use an alias.
