believing education was the key to fame and fortune. They were right.
After graduation from Cornell University School of Hotel Administration
in 1969, they didn't even apply for jobs. They bought a luncheonette
in Union, New Jersey named "The Cozy Corner", and the rest is history.
Growth Restaurants was started in 1972 by two Cornell University
graduates, Jeff Beers and Jack Welch. Today it is owned and operated
by Jeff, Jack and Jim Finnegan. Their expertise has been in developing
theme restaurants.
