The worldwide demand for Web content management (WCM) will increase in 2005 because of three major factors: 1) enterprises have a renewed interest in eBusiness Web sites in addition to their current focus on intranets; 2) custom-built sites will be replaced with WCM for second generation Web sites; and 3) buyers feel more convinced of WCM vendors' viability as WCM has been absorbed into enterprise content management.
